It does not happen when using any other input, only with Sky Q. I assume it loses signal, then regains it. I pay for multi starzino room and Sky Go is a big part of how I use my expensive Sky subscription and all I get is a fob off.

After removing sky go and citrix workspace and reboot and reinstall of Sky go then worked perfectly. @Mickey-Padge I was contacted by a member of the Sky team who walked me through it. Click the comment button to sign-in or sign-up. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll then be given the option to enter a unique code to link your account with. Once this is completed, you’ll then be presented with the sign in screen.

I have had the same issue and followed your instructions but the app still does not work. Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again. I have trying uninstalling the app but not the hidden folders and files part. What have you tried, have you tried uninstalling the app and the hidden files and folders it uses ?

If so, Sky’s policy is to require payment before you can be put through to an adviser. I am looking to join sky for broadband and TV but the options are bewildering to me.  I’d like to speak to a real person at sky on the phone for some help in choosing the best package for me but can’t find a telephone number. Also have Citrix but need this for work so it’s not really acceptable to just say uninstall every time you want to watch something!! Having the same issue and have literally just switched to sky. Sky Technical support are no help, they don’t have a clue. I had done everything, and I have just gone through the whole thing again,  but still I only get the app window to pop up and say looking for update and then close down on me, so th all is still not working. I have tried installing and uninstalling a number of times, cleared the junk, emptied the recycle bin… I have deleted and installed the app, I have deleted the app and waited over night and it still just opens, looks for updates and closes down.

When this happens I get them to change the box out and everything works again for a while until needing to change it again. However it nows that the likes of Disney, Netflix and Prime apps are only showing as HD and not 4K on the programs/films. Yeah I would suspect cable every time with a problem like that. If it happens with the new box then suspicion shifts to cabling or TV.
