Breakthrough: a temptation analogue of human DNA was created
Scientists have made a breakthrough in genetics, which opens the theoretical opportunity to extend human life for a very long time. After some time, drugs may appear on sale that slow down or even stop age -related processes. This breakthrough in genetics will also allow scientists to better understand the process of living life on earth by the appearance of the first molecules of billions of years ago.

Artificial DNA was synthesized by Cambridge scientists from completely different compounds than natural DNA. Scientists have created six different chains from other substances and it turned out that it works, artificial DNA will be limited only.
The bottom line is that such DNA chains are able to perform the same natural functions as natural, and even show great stability, NTV reports.
Scientists from the Royal College in London https://gamblingdata.net/casinos/silver-oak-casino/ discovered a genetic “switch”, which determines how speed we will age. Researchers found four specific “aging gene”, which are controlled throughout our lives by different external factors, including diet. Theoretically, these genes can be programmed from early childhood, writes Medikforum.ru.
To date, science has already found out that some epigenetic changes (the impact of external factors on human DNA) are very important in aging. But British scientists managed to move on, determining how and when this effect manifests itself.
“We have determined many epigenetic changes that affect age, but four of them definitely affect the speed of healthy aging and potential long -lived,” says one of the authors of the study, Dr. Jordan Bell. “The results will help us understand the biological mechanisms of healthy aging and age -related diseases, and future research will explain how external factors affect these epigenetic changes”.
To make it clear what is going on. Specialists in the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology Laboratory in Cambridge are now developing chemical procedures to turn on DNA and RNA, molecular foundations of all known life forms, in six alternative genetic polymers called XNA, explains Globalscience.ru.
The process consists in the exchange of deoxyribosis and ribosis (in DNA and RNA) for other molecules. It was found that XNA can form a double spiral of DNA, and be more stable than natural genetic material.
In the new release of Science magazine, researchers describe how they forced one of the XNA to gain a foothold in the squirrel – the ability that could mean that polymers can be used as drugs working as antibodies, informs Vestinauki.ru.
Philip Holliger, the leading author of the study, believes that the work proved that two distinguishing features of life – heredity and development – are contained in XNA, therefore, XNA compounds are possible alternatives to use natural genetic material.
